While my son does answer grammar exercises, he prefers doing writing activities. One of the simplest writing activity that kids can finish in less than an hour is writing using a prompt.
Our country just experienced a couple of strong typhoons resulting to devastating flood. This prompted (see what I did there) us to think of activities that would not only help my son prepare for such emergencies but also to make him write.
Below are a couple of writing prompts geared for that. One is in English and the other in Filipino.
