Science - Reusable or Waste

One of the first lessons in science (Grade 5) is recognizing whether a material is reusable or waste. It is important because it teaches the students to identify items in their households that they can still use or should be disposed off. 

 In the Philippines, households do not normally segregate their trash so finding a place for these garbage has become a huge problem. If every household learned to reuse or recycle material, then there would be a substantial reduction in the amount of garbage produced.  

 Here are some worksheets that can help your child identify whether a material can still be reused or should already be thrown in the trashcan:
