Layunin ng Aralin

Pagkatapos ng aralin, ang mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

• makapagpapaliwanag ng pagkakaiba ng tiyak na lokasyon at relatibong lokasyon;
• makababasa ng latitude at longitude sa mapa;
• matutukoy ang relatibong lokasyon gamit ang pangunahin at pangalawang direksiyon;
• makikilala ang mga karatig-bansa at anyong tubig sa paligid ng Pilipinas.

Ano ang Lokasyon?

Ang lokasyon ay tumutukoy sa kinalalagyan ng isang lugar. Maaari itong ilarawan sa dalawang paraan: tiyak na lokasyon at relatibong lokasyon.

Halimbawa:

Kapag tinanong ka kung saan matatagpuan ang iyong paaralan, maaari mong sabihin ang eksaktong address nito. Maaari mo ring sabihin na ito ay malapit sa simbahan, nasa kanan ng palengke, o nasa tapat ng parke.

Ano ang Tiyak na Lokasyon?

Ang tiyak na lokasyon ay eksaktong kinaroroonan ng isang lugar sa mapa. Karaniwan itong ipinapakita gamit ang latitude at longitude.

Halimbawa:

Ang Pilipinas ay matatagpuan sa humigit-kumulang 13°N latitude at 122°E longitude.

Ang relatibong lokasyon ay pagtukoy sa lokasyon ng isang lugar batay sa mga lugar, bansa, anyong tubig, o direksiyon na nasa paligid nito.

Araling Panlipunan - Uri ng Likas na Yaman

Ang likas na yaman ay anumang bagay na nagmumula sa kapaligiran na mahalaga at ginagamit ng mga tao. Sinasabing ang likas na yaman ay regalo ng kalikasan. 

Mahalaga ito sa kabuhayan ng isang komunidad. Dito natin kinukuha ang ating mga pangangailangan. Sa likas na yaman din nagmumula ang mga hilaw na materyales (raw material) na kailangan sa paggawa ng iba't ibang produkto.

Ang mga likas na yaman ay maaaring uriin sa apat na grupo:

Yamang Lupa
          Ang mga yamang lupa ay mga bagay na nagmumula sa mga kapatagan, talampas, lambak, at iba pang anyong lupa. Halimbawa nito ang mga gulay at prutas na tumutubo sa lupa. Kasama rin sa yamang lupa ang mga hayop tulad ng kalabaw, kambing, aso, at manok.

Yamang Tubig
          Nakukuha ang yamang tubig sa dagat, ilog, at iba pang mga anyong tubig. Kasama sa yamang tubig ang isda, hipon, alimango, talaba, at iba pa. Nakukuha rin sa katubigan ang mga perlas, korales, kabibe, at damong dagat. 

Yamang Gubat
          Ang acacia, ipil-ipil, kamagong, mahogany, at narra ay mga halimbawa ng yamang gubat. Makukuha sa mga puno ang troso at tabla para sa paggawa ng mga bahay, mesa, silya, at iba pang kasangkapan. Nakukuha rin sa kagubatan ang mga halaman na pinagkukunan ng materyales tulad ng bulak, at anahaw. Matagpuan din dito ang mga hayop tulad ng tarsier, haribon, at tamaraw. 

Yamang Mineral
          Sa mga kabundukan nakukuha ang mga yamang mineral. Kailangan itong hukayin o minahin mula sa ilalim ng lupa. Ginto, tanso, pilak, bakal, bato, marmol at lupa ay ilan lamang sa mga halimbawa ng mga yamang mineral. Kasali din sa uring ito ang langis na ginagamit natin upang magpatakbo ng mga makinarya.

About This Free Making Inferences Game

Lino's Lost & Found Agency is a free online detective game created for preschool, kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 learners. Children identify familiar everyday objects by reading three descriptive clues. Each set of clues moves from an object's appearance to its function and then to the place or situation where it is commonly used.

The activity develops reading comprehension, vocabulary, observation, logical reasoning, and making inferences. Younger learners may choose the TAP mode and select an answer from four choices. More experienced readers may choose the TYPE mode and enter their own answer without choices.

After two incorrect attempts, Detective Lino provides an extra clue. Correct answers unlock a short fact and an optional drawing activity, allowing children to create their own LOST poster before continuing to the next case.

How to Play

Read all three clues before choosing an answer.

Choose TAP for answer choices or TYPE to enter your own answer.

Compare each possible answer with every clue.

Use Lino's extra clue if you are still stuck after two attempts.
