Free UPCAT Language Proficiency Diagnostic Test

This free 70-item assessment helps students estimate their current readiness for the Language Proficiency portion of the UPCAT. It samples English and Filipino vocabulary, grammar, usage, spelling, analogies, sentence control, and paragraph organization.

What will this Language diagnostic tell me?
After submitting, you will receive an overall readiness result, a breakdown of the major skill areas measured by this test, and suggested priorities for review. Your result is also saved on this browser so the Teacher Abi Student Dashboard can recommend what to study next.
Does this cover every possible UPCAT Language competency?
No single diagnostic can measure the complete UPCAT Language Proficiency framework. This assessment samples important competencies and should be used as a starting point for focused review, practice, and later simulated exams.
How should I use my result?
Begin with your lowest-scoring measured areas, review the underlying concepts, complete targeted practice, and then return to mixed and timed questions. Taking the other three Teacher Abi diagnostics will give you a broader picture of your UPCAT readiness.
