Do I have to take the complete diagnostic first?

No. Use it when you are not sure where to begin. If you already know the section you want to check, you can take the shorter section diagnostic instead.

Where is my progress stored?

Diagnostic, reviewer, and planner progress is stored in the browser used to complete it. Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove that local progress.

Does completing one reviewer mean I am ready for the DOST-SEI?

No. A reviewer checks one competency. DOST-SEI readiness also involves coverage, speed, endurance, and mixed timed practice.

What Happens Inside Fraction Quest?

The game contains six missions. Each mission focuses on one fraction skill before students move to more challenging comparisons.

Mission 1: Meet the Fraction

Students identify the numerator or denominator of a displayed fraction. Both fraction parts appear among the choices so the child must understand which number is being asked for.

Mission 2: Read the Fraction

Students count the equal parts and identify how many are shaded. This connects the written fraction to a visual model.

Mission 3: Build the Fraction

Students are given a fraction and must tap the correct number of parts to shade. This tests whether they can construct the model instead of simply recognizing one.

Mission 4: Equivalent Fractions

Students find a fraction with the same value. Feedback explains that multiplying the numerator and denominator by the same number keeps the fraction equivalent.

Mission 5: Compare Fractions

Students compare fractions with the same denominator. They learn that when the parts are the same size, the fraction with the greater numerator is larger.

Mission 6: Fraction Showdown

Students compare fractions with different denominators using visual models and fraction values. This final mission mixes the skills practiced in the earlier stages.

Ask the child to explain one answer aloud after each mission. For example: “Why is 5 the numerator?” or “How do you know 3/4 is greater than 2/4?” A correct answer shows recognition, but explaining the answer shows understanding.

Students do not need to earn three stars immediately. Let them review the feedback, replay the mission, and try to improve their score.
