There are three kinds of nouns:
Concrete nouns - these are things that you can experience through your five senses: sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.
Ex. The teacher is writing on the board with a chalk.
Abstract nouns - these are names of quality, action, or state. Abstract nouns refer to ideas that we can neither see or touch.
Ex. The wisdom shared to me was enlightening.
Collective nouns - these are names that represent a collection or a group of people, animals, or things.
Ex. A bunch of bananas are on the counter.
